On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, 2020 AFFON Steering Committee Members, Central Committee Members, Province Committee Members, Staffs and Experts had a virtual zoom meeting ! The meeting was initiated by Chairperson AFFON, Mr. JogRaj Giri where Senior Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Indira Ghimire welcomed all participants. 
Initially, Mr. Shyam Bhandari Forester shared his insights about World Environment Day , it’s celebration history biodiversity , importance of reuse , recycle and reduce theory and environment preservation. Whereas, Mr Bijaya Raj Poudyel presented about the Contribution of Family Forests in the national economy and biodiversity preservation. Presenting the data of Forest degradation since 1990 , he listed the major problems in registration of Family Forests. Summing up with the effects of COVID-19 upon human beings , he added the vital importance of developing Forest based enterprises as a solution for abroad returnee youth population. 
All the participants shared their best wishes on World Environment Day and updates about the activities they have been doing throughout the lockdown period !
