Orientation on Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) during 16days activism against GBV !

On the auspicious occasion of “16days activism against Gender Based Violence” , AFFON conducted a virtual orientation program on 29th November, 2020 in the invaluable presence of Chairperson AFFON, Mr. Jograj Giri and Senior Vice Chairperson AFFON , Mrs. Indira Ghimire. The orientation session was conducted by GESI expert Mrs. Basana Sapkota whereas Forest Expert Dr. Sony Baral, Ms Ritu Gurung K.C ( Wildlife Conservation Nepal) remained the guests of the program. The program was hosted by Ms Arati Pathak , General Secretary AFFON.

Two presentations were made in the program entitled ” Gender Sensitization in Forestry Sector ” and ” GESI strategy AFFON” by Mrs. Basana Sapkota. Also, Central Committee Members AFFON Mrs Kalpana Bhandari, Kaushalya Kumari, Bhumika Acharya, Province Chairperson , Province 4 Mukti Timsina ,Rabindra Subedi, Gagan Singh, Province Chairperson , Province 6 Rishi Adhikari, Bhawana Hamal, Basanta Sapkota, Binda Timsina, Resham Baniya, K.P Bhandari, Bharatraj Adhikari, Chhabi Kharal, Bishnu Subedi, Santu Subedi , Balaram Bhattarai, Province Incharge 6, Meghraj Bhusal Province Incharge 7 and staffs AFFON.
