In the Forest Regulation 2079, which is about to be published by the Ministry of Forests and Environment, AFFON has repeatedly called attention to the rules and regulations to make it easier for the farmers. But the difficulties in the registration process at the local level and problems in selling the forest products discourage the family forest farmers. The complicated and difficult laws and regulations should not be implemented in family forest and private sector which has the potential for great economic prosperity. So, AFFON strongly demands that the changes in the regulation should be beneficial and encouraging for the family forest farmers.
