AFFON’s suggestions to NPC on issues of family forestry to be incorporated in 16th National Plan ! !
AFFON has submitted the various issues of family forestry to be incorporated in the 16th National plan of Nepal to be issued by National Planning Commission !
- Productive use of family forest land: 50 percent subsidy will be disbursed through local level government for the development and operation of agro-forestry enterprise plan including fast growing indigenous farmers’ production and planting giving priority to agro-forestry enterprises in family forest with single farmer or group of farmers.
- Infrastructure development and employment and income generation arrangements and concessional loans, insurance facilities will be provided.
- Arrangements for production of agriculture and fruits, production of medicinal products, storage (including construction of warehouses), and procurement of such materials.
