AFFON District Chapter, Kathmandu conducted a tree plantation program in a 5 Ropani land today with the major motifs of increasing commercial farming and pollution free environment in the invaluable presence of wa

rd representative Mr. Kundan Khadka (Kageshwori Manohara, ward-9). Majorly, Paulonia tree was planted in the land in the presence of AFFON Central Committee Member and Province 3, Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Sushila Khatiwoda.

Paulonia tree was  majorly planted as it takes just 5 to 10 years to grow. This land belongs to AFFON member Mrs. Laxmi Pokharel and her husband Mr. Narayan Pokharel planted the trees for commercial purpose.
