AFFON’s National Executive Committee Meeting !

AFFON had a zoom meeting today with it’s National Executive Committee Members and some staffs in the invaluable presence and presentation of Legal Advisor, AFFON Mr. Dilraj Khanal ! The meeting was chaired by Chairperson AFFON Mr. Jograj Giri and Senior Vice-Chairperson, AFFON Mrs. Indira Ghimire welcomed all participants. Legal Advisor, AFFON Mr. Dilraj Khanal presented about the provision of  Budget for FY  077/078 and “Income generation and job creation from farmer managed family forests” where he shared  about how to explore budget, labor , employment and income generation, Family Forest in the new Forest Regulation 2077 etc.

The meeting basically focused on 4 various agendas :

• District and Province wise activity reporting
• Reflection on Environment Day Celebration
• Submit proposals and get accessed to Local and Province Level Budget in forestry sector
• Way Forwards amidst COVID-19

The overall program was hosted by General Secretary AFFON, Ms. Aarati Pathak !
