On 14th September, AFFON staffs Forester Ganga Neupane and Communication and Advocacy Officer Pragya Dahal participated in “Women in Wood : Breaking Down Barriers in Forestry “webinar that primarily focused on the major challenges that women have been facing in forestry sector ! The presentation was made by Jessica Kaknevicious and also the discussion session was really fruitful and encouraging for women in the profession ! Both participants from AFFON actively participated in the discussion session expressing the issues of female foresters and family forest owner women of Nepal !
