Interaction program at Tanahu !

AFFON District Chapter Tanahu conducted an interaction program at District Coordination Committee (DCC) in the chairing of Chairperson of DCC , Tanahu Shanti Raman Wagley . Also, Vice-Chairperson of Sukla Gandaki  participated in the interaction program. Whereas various positive commitments were received from the Local representatives and concerned authorities. Vice chairperson DCC, Pabitra Kandel , Deputy Mayor, Suklagandaki, Sabita Rasaili , Member DCC Nil Bahadur Thapa, representatives from Bhanu Municipality , AFFON Tanahu Chairperson Muktinath Timsina and other members too actively participated in the interaction program.

The major agendas of the interaction included :

• Legal hurdles related to forestry sector and how to remove them.
• Contributions that can be made from DCC and municipalities and local authorities to promote family forestry sector.
• Facilitation role of municipality
• Opportunities and challenges in forestry sector.
