The New Draft Forest Bill 2075 is against the rights of Family Forestry as well as Community Forestry and is unable to address the core needs of Forestry. In order to, raise this issue and grab attention of Parliamentarians, Forest experts, Natural Resource Management (NRM)representatives, Association of Family Forest Owner’s, Nepal conducted a National Level Policy Dialogue on 8th July, 2019. Positive commitments have been received from all participant Members of Parliament and also AFFON and other NRM representatives received invitation for attending the high level discussion meetings when the draft Bill will be discussed for further improvisation.
