I am attracted towards timur cultivation because the investment is low and with this low investment, we get more income and it is also jadibuti farming. Two years ago, AFFON has distributed 900 timur plants to 5 farmers. We have also kept stalls of timur at the biodiversity programs in Pokhara. We have done organic timur farming. If the nation invest more in timur and high publicity of  timur, the timur cultivation has become example to reduce unemployment of the country. We have not get sufficient support from nation as well as other organizations such as AFFON as expected. If we get support from them, then we will become successful farmer. We are trying to commercialize timur in Dang district and we need support from nation. For this work, we are trying to initiate it from AFFON. If AFFON will provide technical support for picking timur, trimming, use of fertilizers, thining and pruning to capacitate farmers, it will be easy to commercialize the farming. We have approximately 300-400 big plants and 500 small plants now. Improved timur plant can yield 5 kg above timur.
